Content that has appeared in the comic Hero Oh Hero and a A Path of Greater Good may be posted and discussed in this wiki. It is strongly recommended to take the trouble to link back to each comic page when making claims and stating information, pages will not be considered final unless they systematically do so. Please tag your pages with the corresponding tags.
Conjectures and theories need to be marked as such and mentioned towards the end of each page.
Patreon Content[]
Content belonging from Patreon pages can only appear in short summary form, transcriptions and complete or partial pictures from Patreon content will be deleted and the posting user reprimanded. During these early times, the owner of the wiki will act as the sole moderator of all content appearing in it. More moderators will eventually be appointed if necessary.
All pages that contain any kind of significant patreon content should be marked with this image.
This image is used as a means of warning for both editors and wiki-goers, as these pages contain content that is exclusive to patreon and thus, could be a source of confusion for those who have not read such content.
Creating Character Pages[]
For an example as to what an 'ideal' Character article page should look like, please use Burk's as the prime example.
Infoboxes[]
When creating character articles it is important that the correct character infoboxes are used in those articles. For characters which have been introduced in the main comic and are still alive the 'HoH Character Infobox (Alive)' should be used, while those that have died within the main comic should be given the 'HoH Character Infobox (Dead)' and be filled out accordingly.
For characters which have been exclusively introduced in a patreon story and have not appeared in the main HoH comic should be given the 'HoH Character Infobox (Patreon, Alive)'. However, if the character has died within a patreon side-story and whose death has not been mentioned directly in the main Hero Oh Hero comic then the character should be given the 'HoH Character Infobox (Patreon, Dead)'.
Name Plaques[]
Name Plaques are the first part of the Infobox, and display the Character's name which should be the same as the article. There is one Name Plaque per storyline, and as such, characters should be given a plaque indicative of the storyline in which they were introduced. All of the name's on those Plaques should use the 'Small Pixel' font at size 18
Burk Storyline's Name Plaques[]
Noah's Storyline Name Plaques[]
Tobi Storyline's Name Plaques[]
Held Storyline's Name Plaques[]
No Storyline's Name Plaques[]
These Name Plaques are reserved for characters which have not been introduced within any storyline, like those which have only shown up during intermissions.
Character Cards[]
Character Cards, as seen with this example, are images used in all character articles in the wiki. Each Protagonist, Important Faction and Important Nation, will have its very own Card which character sprites can be put within. These are the guidelines that should be followed before a character is placed onto one of these 'Cards':
- All cards should use the most up to date sprites of the characters.
- All protagonists, regardless of their position in a certain Faction, or which Nation they're present in, will ALWAYS remain on their protagonist-specific Card.
- Characters that are part of a certain Faction, whether it be voluntarily or not, will be placed into that Faction-specific Card. This applies even if they're staying within a certain nation.
- Characters that are not a part of a certain Faction, and are staying in a certain Nation permanently/for the foreseeable future, will be placed into the Nation-specific Card.
- Characters that are not part of a certain Faction, and are not staying in a certain Nation, will be placed into the Protagonist-Specific Card.
- Characters part of certain parties/divisions/groups/countries within a certain Faction, will simply be placed into the Faction they're a part of. An example being the Paladins, which are to be put into the G.O Card. Exceptions are made if such groups/nations are heavily important to the story/someone has been bothered to make Cards for them - like the Mage Barony (part of Heroland), the Empire (part of the AOSN) and the Black Stars (Group within Heroland).
- Characters part of a story-minor nation that does not have a specific Card, will be placed into the Card of the Faction that it is a part of. If it is not under the rule of any Important Faction, then the Character will be placed into the Protagonist-Specific Card.
- Characters part of a story-minor faction that does not have a specific Card, and are staying within a certain nation, then they will be placed into the Card of that nation. If the nation is also minor then the Character will be placed into the Protagonist-Specific Card.
- Characters part of a story-minor faction that does not have a specific Card, and are NOT staying within a certain nation, will be placed into the Protagonist-Specific Card.
- All Characters placed into Protagonist-Specific Cards will be so depending on which Storyline they were introduced in. Like Guy for example, would be placed into the Noah Card, despite having more screen time and importance in Burk's Storyline.
- If certain Factions and Nations may be in one in the same, like Vallance for example, then the Card should be treated as Faction-Card first and foremost.
- If characters are later revealed to not be part of the Faction they claim to be in, then they should be placed into either the Faction they're a part of if at all, a Nation if they're staying permanently/for the foreseeable future within it, and if neither than into their Protagonist-Specific Card.
- Separate Cards of a Character should be made if the Character in question has some kind of wardrobe change/significant physical transformation (even if temporary).

Sections[]
All Character articles should mandatorily have the following sections in the order they are cited here - Personality, Powers and Abilities, History, Quotations, Trivia and References. All these sections should be a 'Heading' and simultaenously an image. To obtain this amazing magical effect? Simple! Just copy the following code as seen here!

Assigning Categories[]
All character articles should be assigned with the 'Characters' category, in addition to categories pertaining to which storylines they have appeared in (For example, Guy's article has him listed as part of the 'Burk's Storyline Characters' and the 'Noah's Storyline Characters). Each storyline has their own category. For characters which have not been introduced in any of those storylines, like patreon exclusive characters and those which only appear in intermissions, should only be assigned with the 'Characters' Category.
Top Wanted Contributions[]
- Magic page: while the spirit disciplines descriptions are well grounded on pages, the description of the three main magic types is very vague. Augmenting these with links to the comic would be nice.
- Rauel's dungeons: the dungeon systems, rules, classes, etc do deserve their own page.
- Character descriptions: are currently very succinct, expansions are welcomed. Please refer the page belonging to Burk as a model on how to do a character page properly.
- Chapter Summaries: having one wiki page for each comic page would be an overkill (at least initially) this wiki groups story line synopses by chapter. Check Chapter 1 for a reference on how to do it right, we need pages like this one for Chapter 2 and on.
- Arc Summaries: No Arc pages exist yet but they are rather easy to make as they only require copying the chapter summaries for the chapter's in the arc and then adding a few images along the way.
- APtGG: currently no content related to A Path to Greater Good exists in this wiki. Plot summaries (follow the same format as the ones for HoH Chapters) and a "differences between" page should be very interesting to have.
Upcoming Content[]
Currently uploading all the character quick information profiles compiled by covertoperator from the HoH Discord.
After that, a cleaning and reference pass for existing articles will be performed. Will gauge community response before embarking into any major content expansion work.
