Held is the fourth protagonist of Hero Oh Hero, one that was introduced later throughout the story compared to the original three. She used to live on a small island off the coast on current-day vallance, and is considered to be a magic prodigy due to having developed her first magical abilities at a very early age.

She was born in the territory belonging to the Duke of Castle Draeckynburg in a time where magic users were under the threat of The Great Mage Purge. Her sparkling eyes and pink hair left her father, a great contributor to the purge, in a precarious position.
One that forced him to fake his daughter's death and leave in the hands of someone who hated him, but knew he could trust - his half-brother, Theobold Purpermane, a man who fled to an island off the coast to escape the purge.
