As a lot of information on this page comes from Tobi, it is possible that some of theses characteristics are only what makes Tobi individually special instead of something that every Rauelian can do.
There are multiple characteristics that differentiate "Rauelians" from Humans, of which Tobi demonstrates a natural knack for understanding technology, the ability to see the inner workings of mechanical works, pointy ears, a short height and a clawed fingers.
The earliest history known of the People of Rauel is seen by the founding of Rauel Village by King Baku, and with the exception of Tobi, have not appeared anywhere else outside of the Shira Desert. Where King Baku and his men originally came from is unknown.
Abilities and Physiological Differences[]
Scanning[]
It appears most if not all Rauelians possess the capability to "scan" the inside of machinery or general items. This allows them to view the inner workings and information stored within the object, almost like opening a information log about the object. When doing so, their eyes turn blue. This was something that Tobi could do even outside of Rauel while she was in Lorg.
Party Menu[]
An ability that has only appeared within Dungeon exploration runs. It is unknown if this perk is related to Dungeons themselves, or if it is an innate ability for all Rauelians. Tobi, Sari and Jake all demonstrated their ability to use it. It allows for party members to check on each others status
A notable point is that it is a literal green color change[2] of the eyes of Rauelians. The same kind of colour change appears in Scanning, which is an ability that can be used outside of Rauel.
