Vonesperda, 'The Parasite'[1], is a Wandering Spirit and one of the two main masterminds behind the Eddstadt Conspiracy. She operates by forcing, or coercing weak willed espers into her service and using them for her own ends - which in this case happened to be taking over Heroland from within[2].

Vonesperda has been implied to be an incredibly powerful Wandering by Evyle, who states that, while it isn't impossible, the sheer intensity of the "esper flare" she would need to kill Vonesperda would take too long and the cost of doing so would be too steep.[3]
Vonesperda could access Morty and move through him and back to Mr. Mittens through her hub, named 'The edge of reality' by Zalander, which is implied to be within the Spirit World.

After her defeat by Burk, she fled to a place/dimension that Zalander nicknamed the edge of reality. The dimension is adorned within are statues of the espers that Vonesperda has claimed, including Morty, Mr. Mittens, and a unknown broken statue.
Taking a moment to catch her breath, Vonesperda tries to collect her thoughts and reassess her plan. she see the loss of Morty as a shame, but that theres "plenty of weak willed espers in the world", but mourns the loss of the Contracts.[4] It seems part of her grander plan involves something that has only a one year time limit. Vonesperda claims that she only have a single year left to get things together. Cryptically, Zalander laughs at this, as "even the lowly vermin are coming for the thr- "[sic][5]
Vonesperda, passing through the Mr. Mittens gate, is promptly captured by Evyle through her possession of Mr. Mittens. Still this wasn't actually a capture, as Vonesperda states that she could escape at any time she wish even if Mr. Mittens was attacked.
